New Features and Enhancements in PS Cloud Analytics Winter 2023
The following new features have been introduced in the Winter 2023 release of PS Cloud Analytics.

Introducing FinancialForce Trailhead: Release Highlights
In this release, we have introduced a release highlights Trailhead module to guide you through our products and help you to make the most of each functionality and upgrade.

PS Cloud Core Analytics Name Change
The PSA Core Analytics app has been renamed to PS Cloud Core Analytics and PSA Advanced Analytics app has been renamed to PS Cloud Advanced Analytics. This name change is reflected when creating new apps, but existing apps are not updated to reflect the new name unless you perform this step manually.
The PSA Analytics Setup object has also been renamed to PS Cloud Analytics Setup.
PS Cloud Core Analytics Dataflow Scheduling
View users can now manually schedule the dataflow for your PS Cloud Core Analytics app.
Dashboard Week Ending Grouping
The following dashboards now use the week ending dates to group their charts:
- PSA Utilization
- PSA Capacity
- PSA Overview
- PSA Billings
- PSA Backlog
Percentages and Hours Drop-Down Menu
The following dashboards can now be changed to display either the remaining and scheduled hours or percentages in their charts using the Percentages and Hours view drop-down menu:
- PSA Utilization
- PSA Capacity
Overview Dashboard Enhancements
The PSA Overview dashboard now displays both the total utilization KPI and the capacity hours percentage KPI charts as a percentage and in hours.
PSA Skills Capacity and Demand Planning and PSA Utilization Analytics Capacity and Demand Planning Dashboard Enhancements
The following dashboards now display the full time equivalent of the hours being requested to fulfill a role or skill. This is displayed as the number of resources needed over month, week, or day. The value comes from the Standard Hours per Day field on the default work calendar for the region, or the parent/global region, or eight hours if there is not one set.

New Dashboards
We have added three new dashboards:
- PSA Performance Summary
- PSA Utilization Summary
- PSA Capacity Summary
The dashboards are created if you select the Utilization Setup option, or the Both Calculation Types (for migration purposes) option, for the Utilization Calculation Type when creating a PS Cloud Analytics Setup record.
The PSA Project Burnup Plus dashboard Project Overview chart now derives the current date for Scheduled and Actual data from the current month.
Changes to Permission Sets
We have updated the Integration User permission set to include access to the Work Calendar object. This enables you to report on data derived from this object.
We have updated the label of the PSA - PSA Analytics Setup permission set to PSA - PS Cloud Analytics Setup. No changes have been made to the API name of this permission set.
Dataset Enhancements
We have added the Billings Value (Project Currency) field to the Billings dataset.
We have added five fields to the Utilization Results dataset.

CS Cloud Customer Success Manager Dashboard
The CS Cloud Customer Success Manager dashboard enables you to view information about playbooks, using data derived from the Project Reporting dataset. This dashboard is designed to be embedded in the Customer Success Cloud workspace.
The CS Cloud Customer Success Manager dashboard enables you to:
- View the stage of active playbooks.
- View the average duration of active playbooks.
- View the count and duration of playbooks created from a playbook template.
To support this new dashboard, the Project Record Type has been added to the Project Reporting dataset.

Field Deprecations
The Utilization Results checkbox has been deprecated from the PS Cloud Analytics Setup object. Its functionality has been replaced by the Utilization Calculation Type field. If you are upgrading to the Winter 2023 release, we recommend you edit the page layout to remove the deprecated Utilization Results field.
