Creating Production Orders from a Requisition

You can create production orders from a requisition for manufactured kit items to schedule the production of the items.

To create the production orders for those items from the requisition:

1. Create the requisition.
2. Add requisition lines as needed. Ensure that each requisition line has a Condition Code value that matches the Condition Code value of any of the bills of materials associated with the item.
3. Submit the requisition for approval. Once the requisition is approved, one production order for each requisition line will be automatically generated.

Production orders will be generated for requisition lines where the Condition Code is blank as long as the requisition line item has one bill of materials where the Condition Code is blank.

Notes:

If you create a requisition line with a Condition Code value that doesn’t match the Condition Code value of any of the bills of materials associated with the item, no production order will be generated for that line.

You cannot add new lines to a production order that has been approved and picked.
