Creating a Bank Format Mapping Field

We recommend that you read and understand What is a Bank Format Mapping? before creating any mapping records.

To create a bank format mapping field record:

1. Click the Bank Format Mappings tab.
2. Navigate to the detail page for the top-level bank format mapping record.
3. In the Bank Format Mapping Record Types section, click the name of the first record type, which is probably a Header record type.
4. In the Bank Format Mapping Fields section, click New Bank Format Mapping Field.
5. Enter a short, descriptive, meaningful, and unique name for this record.
6. Establish a relationship to the related bank format mapping field.
7. Complete the Source fields as described in the related topics. The fields on the right of the page are populated automatically. The Target Field is populated on save.
8. Click Save.
9. Repeat from step 4 for any other bank format mapping fields that you need to create. You can clone one record and use it as the basis for the next.
