Creating a Bank Format Mapping Record Type

We recommend that you read and understand What is a Bank Format Mapping? before creating any mapping records.

To create a bank format mapping record type:

1. Click the Bank Format Mappings tab.
2. Navigate to the detail page for the top-level bank format mapping record.
3. Click New Bank Format Mapping Record Type.
4. Enter a short, descriptive, meaningful, and unique name for this record. This must be the similar to the name of bank format definition record type and include the word "Mapping".
5. Establish a relationship to the related bank format definition record type.
6. Define the root source object. Enter the API name of the most common source object at field level.
7. Enter this record's global output sequence.
8. Click Save.
9. Repeat from step 3 for other record types that you need to create.
