Deleting Billing Documents

Depending on the Allow Deletion of Draft Billing Document field in the Billing Central Settings custom setting, you can delete billing documents with the status "Draft", "Ready for Review", or "Superseded" if they are not linked to a consolidated billing document. If the Allow Deletion of Draft Billing Document field is not enabled, you can discard billing documents instead. See Discarding Billing Documents.

To delete a billing document from the Billing Document Detail page:

  1. On the Billing Documents tab, click the name of the billing document you want to delete.
  2. On the Billing Document Detail page, click Delete.
  3. Confirm that you want to delete the contract.

To delete a billing document from the Billing Documents list view:

  • In Lightning Experience, click on the billing document you want to delete, then click Delete.
  • In Classic, click Del next to the billing document you want to delete, then click OK.

Deleting Billing Document Lines

To delete a billing document line item on the Billing Document Detail page do one of the following:

  • In Lightning Experience, click on the document line item you want to delete, then click Delete.
  • In Classic, click Del next to the document line item you want to delete, then click OK.
  • On the enhanced Billing Document Detail page, click the Cross icon icon next to the product or plan you want to remove.
