Using the Cuenta de Pérdidas y Ganancias Dashboard

Note: This dashboard requires your corporate chart of accounts to be Spain. If you already had existing GLAs before enabling Localization in Accounting, in order to view this dashboard correctly, you must go to General Ledger Accounts in Accounting and select local balance sheet values.

The Cuenta de Pérdidas y Ganancias dashboard enables you to run your profit and loss reports in Financial Statements and view the resulting data within the dashboard. This dashboard uses the Financial Transactions dataset and contains:

  • Prompts: filter by company, currency, year, and period.
  • Drill down: select any row in the Ejercicio Seleccionado or Ejercicio Anterior column and click Ver Detalle >. To return to the previous view click < Pérdidas y Ganancias. This enables you to view an analysis of the individual transactions which sum the total values in that row. This functionality is not available for the total lines at the bottom of the table (for example A.1, A.2, A.3). If you attempt to drill these rows, a "No Results Found" message is displayed.

To filter the report data:

  1. Use the Compañía drop-down to select the company you want to see data for.
  2. Use the Divisa drop-down to select between home (Local) or dual (Corporativa) currency.
  3. Use the Año drop-down to select the year you want to see data for. Whichever year you choose, the previous year is displayed in the next column.
  4. Use the Periodo drop-down to select a period.
  5. Use the Periodo de Ajuste 100 drop-down to select if you want to include or exclude period 100. For a definition of the special periods, see Financial Balances Fields.
