Using the Transaction List Dashboard

The Transaction List dashboard enables you to run your transaction list reports in Financial Statements and view the resulting data within the dashboard. This dashboard uses the Financial Transactions dataset and contains:

  • Prompts: filter by company, year, and period.
  • Subtotals: view subtotals and totals.
  • Source document drill functionality: open the related transaction document.

To use the report:

  1. Specify a year and period data range using the Year and Period drop-down options.
  2. Select the company you want to see data for from the Company drop-down menu.
  3. Click Arrow to set a filter:
    1. Select an operator (Equals, Does Not Equal, Contains).
    2. Select a value (for the Equals or Does Not Equal operator) or type a value (for the Contains operator).
Note:

If you access the Transaction List page from another dashboard, these filters are not available. The report table also does not include the General Ledger Account Name and Financial Year and Period (s) columns.

Drilling Down on Data in the Report

To drill down on data:

  1. Hover over a cell in the Transaction Document Number column in the table.
  2. Click Arrow that appears, then click Open Record.

The related transaction document opens in a new tab.
