Adjusting the Sequence Last Run Date

Foundations stores details of the last time a sequencing batch job was run for a particular object. This data is stored in the Last Run Time field of Sequence Last Run custom settings. You can view the last run information from the Scheduled Jobs tab of the Foundations Setup page.

When the Generate Sequences scheduled job runs, Foundations generates sequence numbers for records that were modified after the last run date and do not contain a sequence number. You can generate sequence numbers for records that were last modified before the last run date and do not contain a sequence number. For example, you can generate numbers for these records if the previous Generate Sequences job has failed or if you want to generate numbers for old records that do not contain sequence numbers. If you need to re-run the Generate Sequences job, you can edit the last run date to contain an earlier date and time.

To adjust the last run date for an object:

  1. From All Tabs, click Foundations Setup.
  2. Click the Scheduled Jobs tab.
  3. Click in the Actions column for the Generate Sequences scheduled job.
  4. Click the last run date next to the object you want to generate sequence numbers for.
  5. Use the calendar date picker to select the date.
  6. Click the time and type in the sequence run time.
  7. Repeat the last three steps to adjust the last run date for more objects.
  8. Click Save to close the popup.
Note:

The last run time is shown in your local time.
