Scheduling the Generate Sequences Job

The Generate Sequences job enables you to automatically generate sequence numbers for the sequence formats you have created. For information about setting up sequencing, see Setting up Sequencing.

Generate Sequence Numbers Now

To run the Generate Sequences job now:

1. From All Tabs, click Foundations Setup.
2. Click the Scheduled Jobs subtab.
3. In the Generate Sequences row, click .

Customize the Generate Sequences Job

To specify when to run the Generate Sequences job:

1. From All Tabs, click Foundations Setup.
2. Click the Scheduled Jobs subtab.
3. In the Generate Sequences row, click .
4. Edit the schedule. For more information, see Configuring a Scheduled Job.
5. Ensure the Scheduled checkbox in the Generate Sequences row is selected.
6. Click Save.

To view a summary of the schedule , click the information icon .
