Project Management Desktop App

The Project Management app acts as a starting point for the activities that you conduct in your project manager role, and contains the following tabs:

• Project Management Workspace
• Projects
• Opportunities
• Chatter

Project Management Workspace

The Project Management workspace is the default landing page for the Project Management app. It helps you to prioritize the activities for your role and also gives you access to the most relevant parts of the org.

Projects

The Projects tab opens the Projects list view. For more information, see Projects.

Opportunities

The Opportunities tab opens the Opportunities list view, where you can select the opportunities you want to view. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.

Chatter

Chatter is a private social network within your Salesforce/PSA environment. If you are new to Chatter or would like to find out more about its features, read the Salesforce Chatter Overview first.

PSA is Chatter enabled. This means you can access Chatter's feeds and file-sharing features from within the application.

Note: You must have the existing workspace permission sets to access these apps from the App Launcher. Most of the tabs are list views, but some tabs are redirected to pages. To access the pages and their contents you must be provided with the relevant functional area permission sets. For more information, contact your administrator.
