Setting up the Services Delivery Workspace

Installing the Workspace

PSA Workspaces is not currently part of the PSA core product. Contact the Onboarding Team to have the PSA Workspaces package installed into your org.

Complete the following setup for your users to access the Services Delivery workspace:

  1. The PSA - Workspaces - Services Delivery permission set provides access to the PSA Services Delivery workspace. Assign the PSA - Workspaces - Services Delivery permission set to the users that require access to the workspace.
  1. The workspace links to various parts of the product and is populated by the relevant records. To view the workspace correctly with populated data, you must ensure that your users have the necessary permissions sets to access the following objects:
    • Assignment
    • Project Task Assignment
    • Contact
    • Project
    • Skills and Certification
    • Skill and Certification Rating
    • Time Period
    • Timecard
    • Time Variance
    • Expense Report
Note: While using Services Delivery workspace, ensure that you have access to your resource record to view data related to the resource.
  1. Manually add the Services Delivery Workspace tab to any apps. By adding this tab to the relevant apps you gain maximum benefit from the Services Delivery workspace, supporting your workflows, and reducing the time needed to access the information required in your role.
  2. Manually apply for the tab permissions on the Time Entry, Multiple Expense UI Entry and Skills Matrix after the package installation is completed.
  3. Manually apply the Services Delivery Workspace tab permission on the profiles that require access to the workspace.
  4. Set up sharing by groups or roles for the users that you want to access the My Hours By Project report chart. Applying the appropriate sharing settings for groups and roles determines how the report is displayed for different users.
