Deleting Custom Mappings

You can delete a custom mapping to remove the source and target from a specific key if it is no longer relevant to your PSA Direct for Jira mappings. This clears the source and target information from the mapping.

Notes:
  • If the key is not used for any PSA Direct for Jira mappings, it is deleted from the list.
  • Source and target information can only be removed from custom mappings.
  • If custom mappings are deleted from a PSA Direct for Jira Mappings Lightning page, then custom mappings are automatically deleted from custom metadata types.
  • You cannot delete managed mappings.

To delete custom mappings:

  1. Open the PSA Direct for Jira Mappings Lightning page.
  2. Navigate to the relevant field mapping components, from the list view, select the mapping type that contains the relationship you want to delete.
  3. To make changes to an existing mapping, click and click Delete. The source and target are cleared.
