Creating a Success Plan

To create a new success plan:

  1. Click Create Success Plan on the Customer Success Workspace or relevant record page.
  2. Click Create Blank.
  3. Enter a name for the new success plan.
  4. [Optional] Update the success plan owner. This field is pre-populated with the current user when one resource is assigned to the user.
  5. [Optional] Enter an account, next business review, last business review, and status, for the success plan.
  6. [Optional] Enter a summary of your success plan. To upload an image, click .
  7. [Optional] Enter any challenges and risks for your success plan. To upload an image, click .
  8. Click Save.
Note:

When creating a success plan from an account record page, the Account field is auto-populated with the account you are currently viewing.

To create a success plan from a template:

  1. Click Create Success Plan on the Customer Success Workspace or relevant record page.
  2. Select a success plan template. The success plans are displayed in separate cards by default. You can switch between views using the and buttons.
  3. Click Next.
  4. [Optional] Update the name for the new success plan.
  5. [Optional] Update the success plan owner. This field is pre-populated with the current user when one resource is assigned to the user.
  6. [Optional] Select an account to associate with the success plan.
  7. [Optional] Update the effective date. The default is today’s date.
  8. [Optional] To make a success plan available for selection as a template when creating new success plans from templates, select the Template checkbox.
  9. [Optional] Update the summary of your success plan. To upload an image, click . The field is auto-populated from the template when available.
  10. [Optional] Update the challenges and risks for your success plan. To upload an image, click . The field is auto-populated from the template when available.
  11. Click Create.
Notes:

When selecting a template, only success plans with the Template checkbox selected are displayed.

When creating a success plan from an account record page, the Account field is auto-populated with the account you are currently viewing.
