Creating a Success Plan

To create a new success plan:

  1. Click Create Success Plan on the Customer Success Workspace or relevant record page.
  2. Select Create New Success Plan.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Enter a name for the new success plan.
  5. [Optional] Update the success plan owner. This field is pre-populated with the current user when one resource is assigned to the user.
  6. [Optional] Enter an account, next business review, last business review, and status, for the success plan.
  7. [Optional] Enter a summary of your success plan. To upload an image, click .
  8. [Optional] Enter any challenges and risks for your success plan. To upload an image, click .
  9. Click Save.
Note:

When creating a success plan from an account record page, the Account field is auto-populated with the account you are currently viewing.

To create a success plan from a template:

  1. Click Create Success Plan on the Customer Success Workspace or relevant record page.
  2. Select Create Success Plan from Template.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select the template you want to use.
  5. Click Next.
  6. [Optional] Update the name for the new success plan.
  7. [Optional] Update the success plan owner. This field is pre-populated with the current user when one resource is assigned to the user.
  8. [Optional] Select an account to associate with the success plan.
  9. [Optional] Update the effective date. The default is today’s date.
  10. [Optional] To make a success plan available for selection as a template when creating new success plans from templates, select the Template checkbox.
  11. [Optional] Update the summary of your success plan. To upload an image, click . The field is auto-populated from the template when available.
  12. [Optional] Update the challenges and risks for your success plan. To upload an image, click . The field is auto-populated from the template when available.
  13. Click Create.
Notes:

When selecting a template, only success plans with the Template checkbox selected are displayed.

When creating a success plan from an account record page, the Account field is auto-populated with the account you are currently viewing.
