Adding Custom Fields to Objects

To create a ClickLink rule you should decide which fields are to be displayed in the source and target records. If the fields do not exist on the source and target objects, you must add them. For information about field types that you can map in ClickLink, see Field Type Compatibility Matrix.

Note:

ClickLink uses the object and field API Closed Application Programming Interface names and not the labels.

You cannot create a ClickLink mapping that specifies fields that do not exist.
