Customer Returns

Return Material Authorizations enable you to book items in for return to a particular warehouse. For instance, a customer may return an item that is faulty and want a refund. Once a Return Material Authorization (RMA) has been created for an item, the staff at the warehouse to which the record relates then expects the item to be returned and can create a receipt for the item when it is returned.

You can create an RMAClosed Return Material Authorization from the Return Material Authorizations related list on the sales order to which the item being returned relates. You can also select warranty resolution actions where required.
