Gantt Configuration Options

The following configuration options affect how Gantt can be used to manage assignments and resource requests.

To change configuration options:

1. Open App Launcher, and then select All Items | Configuration Options. Using Classic Click the Configuration Options tab.
2. Change the settings, as described in the following tables.

Resource Request Settings

This is the relevant setting in the Resource Requests configuration group.

Option	Description	Default Value
allow-to-assign-a-resource-with-different-role	If false, to generate an assignment or resource request for a resource, the role on the project task assignment (PTA) must match the role on the resource's contact record. If true, the resource can still be assigned if the role on the PTA does not match the role on the resource's contact record.	False

Schedule Settings

These are the relevant settings in the Schedule configuration group.

auto-recalculate-schedule-for-assignments	If false, changes to estimated hours or allocations for project tasks or project task assignments do not update schedules for related assignments automatically. If true, schedules for related assignments are updated automatically for any changes to estimated hours or allocations for project tasks or project task assignments.	False
auto-recalculate-schedule-for-held-resource-requests	If false, changes to estimated hours or allocations for project tasks or project task assignments do not update schedules for related held resource requests automatically. If true, schedules for related held resource requests are updated automatically for any changes to estimated hours or allocations for project tasks or project task assignments.	False
