Creating New Field Mapping for Expenses and Expense Reports

You can map a Concur field to a field in PSA, using the PSA Direct for Concur Expense Mappings page and Custom Metadata Types.

Notes:
  • You can only do this for PSA Expenses and PSA Expense Reports.
  • Before mapping Concur fields to PSA fields, you must also assign permissions to the PSA Assignment, Expense, Expense Report, Project, and Resource objects and fields. Even if you do not assign object and field permissions for the PSA Assignment, Expense, Expense Report, Project, and Resource, you can still view the existing mappings while adding or editing the mappings, but you cannot select any objects and fields.

The mandatory mappings are configured by default. You can view default mappings, add custom field mappings, and override default field mappings.

To view default mappings, add custom field mappings, and override default field mappings, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the PSA Direct for Concur Expense Mappings tab.
  2. In PSA Direct for Concur Expense Expense Report Field Mappings, you can:
    • View the source and target objects.
    • View the source and target fields for each mapping.
    • Add custom mappings.
    • Override the default (managed) mappings.
    • Save mapping records to custom metadata

For more information, see Adding Custom Mappings from the FDN Mappings Component.
