Assigning Users to Companies
Users cannot use Accounting until they have access to one or more companies, and at least one of these accessible companies A list of one or more active companies to which a user has access. is set as their current company The company in which you are working. This is represented by the company queue to which you, and new instances of objects you create, are assigned..
This is a two-step procedure:
- Grant each user access to one or more active companies. In a single-company organization, the only company automatically becomes the user's current company.
- In a multi-company organization, set each user's current company. See Setting your Current Company for more information.
The current company setting assigns the user to the equivalent company queue A location within the underlying Salesforce platform used to represent a company. When you activate a new company, a corresponding company queue is created..
