Creating an Objective
To create a new objective:
- Click Create Objective on the Customer Success workspace or relevant record page.
- Click Create Blank.
- Enter a name for the new objective.
- [Optional] Update the objective owner. This field is pre-populated with the current user when one resource is assigned to the user.
- [Optional] Enter a success plan, status, start date, end date, category, priority, and objective type for the objective.
- [Optional] To make an objective available for selection as a template when creating objectives from template, select the Template checkbox.
- [Optional] Enter a summary of your objective. To upload an image, click .
- [Optional] Enter the success criteria for your objective. To upload an image, click .
- Click Save.
To create an objective from a template:
- Click Create Objective on the Customer Success Workspace or relevant record page.
- Select an objective template. The objectives are displayed in separate cards by default. You can switch between views using the and buttons.
- Click Next.
- [Optional] Update the name for the new objective.
- [Optional] Update the objective owner. This field is pre-populated with the current user when one resource is assigned to the user.
- [Optional] Select a success plan to associate with the objective.
- [Optional] Enter a success plan, status, start date, end date, category, priority, and objective type for the objective. These fields are auto-populated using the template when available.
- [Optional] To make an objective available for selection as a template when creating new objectives from templates, select the Template checkbox.
- [Optional] Update the summary of your objective. To upload an image, click . The summary is auto-populated from the template when available.
- [Optional] Update the success criteria for your objective. To upload an image, click . The success criteria is auto-populated from the template when available.
- Click Create.
