Using Multi-Book Reporting with the CFO Dashboards
From Spring 2020, Multi-Book Accounting is available from Accounting. This feature enables companies that trade in different countries or economic areas to produce the different sets of financial reports that are necessary to comply with different Accounting Standards, without having to make external adjustments.
Multi-Book Accounting enables you to create different sets of financial statements by applying Accounting Book filters to your reports. Financial Management Analytics supports this feature by default. When you create or reconfigure a Financial Analytics App, the necessary fields are added to the Financial Balances, Financial Matching, and Financial Transactions datasets. You can then control this feature from the dashboard configuration page of any of these dashboards:
- CFO Overview
- CFO Profitability Details
- CFO Balance Sheet Details
To control the data displayed:
- Open the dashboard you want to use.
- Click .
- In the Accounting Book section, select the accounting books where the transactions relevant to your report are posted.
- Save your view.
- Click to return to your dashboard.
