Product Groups

A product group is a technique for organizing items. A collection of items is assigned to a product group and then one or more product groups can be assigned to a sales representative.

Marking a product group as a category adds the product group to the list of categories available for selection when you create lines of type Category for indirect procurement. You can use the Categories list view to help you filter the search results further.
