PSA Direct for Jira Settings Fields

Use these settings on the PSA Direct for Jira tab to configure and activate the PSA Direct for Jira integration.

Integration Settings

Integration Settings Fields

Field	Description
Email	Email address that error notifications are sent to. Notes: If an error occurs while syncing work logs to timecards or task time records, the error notification is sent to the PSA resource linked to the Jira user who logged the time. Similarly, if an error occurs while syncing issues to project tasks, the error notification is sent to the PSA resource linked to the Jira user who created, updated, or deleted the issue. The email is only used if the Email field on the PSA resource is blank. If an error occurs when using any of the following features, the error notification is sent to the PSA user who created or updated the record. Use Parent Link	Indicates whether you can use a Parent Link custom field provided by Jira to build a hierarchy from any issue type to issue type. By default, the Use Parent Link is disabled.

Project Settings

Project Setting Fields

Field	Description
Sync PSA Projects to Jira	Indicates whether PSA projects are synced to Jira. When checked, PSA Projects will be synced to the Jira, if the Sync to Jira field is checked.
PSA Projects Mapped to	Indicates whether PSA projects are mapped to Jira issues or Jira projects. This enables you to: Sync PSA projects to Jira issues or to Jira projects. Update a PSA project field based on a Jira issue status. The type of Jira issue is determined by the value of the Jira Issue Type field. This is deselected by default.
Jira Issue Type	Type of Jira issue PSA projects are synced to. The default value is Epic. Notes: The issue type must exist in your Jira application. This value is case-sensitive.
Update PSA Project based on Jira Issue	Indicates that eligible PSA projects are updated based on Jira issue.

Project Task Settings

Project Task Setting Fields

Field	Description
Sync PSA Project Tasks to Jira Issues	Indicates that eligible PSA project tasks are synced to Jira issues. By default, it is disabled.

Timecard Settings

Timecard Status Setting Fields

Field		Description
Timecard Status	*	Status in which timecards are created by the PSA Direct for Jira integration.

Jira Issue Type Settings

Field		Description
Sync Jira Issues to PSA Project Tasks		Indicates that eligible Jira issues are synced to PSA project tasks.
Jira Issue Types	*	Type of Jira issues PSA projects are synced to. Notes: The issue type must exist in your Jira application. This value is case-sensitive.

Cleanup Queue Events Settings

Cleanup Queue Events Setting Fields

Field		Description
Minimum Hours for Failed Queue Events	*	Indicates the minimum hours to keep failed Integration Core Queue Events before the next scheduled removal job deletes them. The value is in the range of 1 to 9999.
Minimum Hours for Successful Queue Events	*	Indicates the minimum hours to keep successful Integration Core Queue Events before the next scheduled removal job deletes them. The value is in the range of 1 to 9999.

Enable Integration

Enable Integration Fields

Field	Description
PSA Direct for Jira	Indicates whether the PSA Direct for Jira integration is active. By default, it is disabled.
Pause PSA Direct for Jira	When checked, the synchronized events will be queued but not processed. By default, it is disabled. Note: You can only pause events when the PSA Direct for Jira is activated.
