The project planner is a graphical tool that gives you an organized, comprehensive view of projects and the resources assigned to them. You can use this tool to view the resources and hours that are assigned to specific projects, and adjust them.
In FinancialForce PSA there are two versions of the project planner:
A project planner that allows you to see and work with all projects and resources for which you have full permissions for.
Project planner (PM), which only displays projects for which you are the assigned project manager.
Both versions work in the same way, the only difference is the projects and resources that you can view and edit.
Advanced Searching and Filtering
You can search for projects in the project planner using various criteria including:
Billable projects
Group
Location
Practice
Project Name
Project Status
Region
When you carry out a search, the criteria you use are saved while you have the planner open. When you next display the Search popup window, the criteria that you last searched with are displayed. When you close the Project Planner, the criteria that you last searched on are reset.
