Task-Based Resourcing Settings

You can control the elements of the Create Resource Requests from Project Tasks window using the following fields in the Task-Based Resourcing custom setting.

The Resource Request field set that defines the read-only columns in the Resourcing from Project Tasks window.

Unsupported field typesClosedID, Geolocation, Text (Encrypted), Time, Formulas, Auto Number, Roll-Up, Picklist (Multi-Select), and Summary. Text Area field types are supported but they do not support line breaks.

Resource Request Editable Columns  

The Resource Request field set that defines the editable columns in the Resourcing from Project Tasks window.

Resource Request Groupings

   The Project Task Assignment field set that defines available fields for grouping project task assignments in resource requests.

Add the API name of the field set that contains the fields that you want to display in the Grouping Criteria list.

If you add an empty field set, only the option of Resource Role is displayed.

If you do not add a field set, the options of Resource Role, Resource, External Resource, and Milestone are displayed.
