Creating and Cloning Navigation Configurations

Use FF Navigation Configuration Builder to create a new navigation configuration or rename or clone an existing navigation configuration.

Creating a New Navigation Configuration

On the Navigation Configuration Builder tab:

1. Click New in the header bar or the preview area.
2. Enter a unique label for the configuration. This label is displayed in the My Configurations list and the Lightning App Builder.

   When you click outside this field, the API Name field is populated.

3. [Optional] Edit the API name. This must be a unique name.
   Note: The combined character limit of the Prefix and API Name fields is 40 characters.
4. Click Save.

Clone an Existing Navigation Configuration

On the Navigation Configuration Builder tab:

1. Click the name of an existing navigation configuration, the details for the navigation configuration are loaded on-screen.
2. Click Clone.
3. Enter a unique label for the configuration. This label is displayed in the My Configurations list and the Lightning App Builder.

   When you click outside this field, the API Name field is populated.

4. [Optional] Edit the API name. This must be a unique name.
   Note: The combined character limit of the Prefix and API Name fields is 40 characters.
5. Click Save.
