Adding Role Requests to an Estimate

To add role requests to a task:

  1. On the row of the task you want to add role requests to, double-click the Resource Role cell. The Add Role Requests window opens on the Roles tab.
  2. Complete the fields described in Add Role Requests Fields.
  3. [Optional] Click to add another role request.
    Tip: Click to delete the role request on the row that's currently selected.
  4. Click Save.

To delete a role request from a task:

  1. Select a cell on the row of the role request you want to delete.
  2. Click .
    Tip: To select multiple tasks, hold down Command (Mac), Ctrl (PC) while selecting the role requests you want to delete.

Hours Breakdown

The Hours Breakdown tab in the Add Role Requests window enables you to specify the hours for each role request for the selected task per week. To do this:

  1. In the Add Role Requests window, select the Hours Breakdown tab. The hours for each role request are automatically broken down.
  2. To edit the hours for each week, double-click the cell on the row of the role request and in the column of the week that you want to edit.
    Note: The date displayed is the first day of the week specified in your user's locale.
  3. Click Save. A Schedule record is created. For more information, see Schedule Fields in the PSA Help.
