The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2022 release of PSA Analytics:

Changes to PSA Analytics Apps, Dashboards, and Datasets

From Summer 2022, two PSA Analytics apps are available for use:

These new apps replace the single PSA Analytics app used to create dashboards and datasets in previous releases.

The following conditions apply when using PSA Core Analytics apps:

We recommend upgrading to this release if you have a large number of users in your org who require view access to dashboards but do not need to view or edit their underlying datasets in Analytics Studio.

For more information about the dashboards and datasets contained in each PSA Analytics app, see Upgrading PSA Analytics to Summer 2022.

If you want to create all the dashboards and datasets held in the Spring 2022 release of PSA Analytics, using the new PSA Analytics functionality available in Summer 2022, you must perform the following steps:

The functionality to create the new PSA Core Analytics app is contained in the Summer 2022 release of Foundations. You must install Foundations Summer 2022 before creating your core app.

For more information on creating your PSA Core Analytics app, see Creating an App from the PSA Core Analytics Template.

For more information on creating your PSA Advanced Analytics app, see Creating an App from the PSA Advanced Analytics Template.

Warning:

If you have previously created PSA Analytics apps using the Spring 2022 version of the PSA Analytics app template, you cannot create new apps using this template from Summer 2022 onwards. You can only use the Spring 2022 version of the PSA Analytics app to reconfigure existing apps created with this template.
