Preparing to Upgrade

This section lists things to consider before upgrading to Business Analytics Spring 2023.

Dependencies on Other Certinia Packages

You must install the following packages before upgrading to Business Analytics Spring 2023:

You must install the Foundations Spring 2023 Service Pack 1 before you can upgrade the Business Analytics package to Spring 2023.

In addition, the following packages are required before you can upgrade an Analytics app based on a Business Analytics template.

Engagement Analytics

Revenue Management	Spring 2022	Only required if you want to include revenue recognized and cost amortized amounts, and to create the Deferred Revenue Reporting dashboard.
Supply Chain Management	Fall 2021	Only required if you use SCM with the engagement functionality and want to include sales orders in Engagement Analytics.

To access the Certinia Help, https://www.financialforce.com must be registered as a trusted remote site.

Note:

The URL must use the HTTPS protocol.

To check this on your org, from Setup, enter Remote in the Quick Find box and click Remote Site Settings. If there is no remote site listed with the URL https://www.financialforce.com, you must add one.
