Adding the View in Resource Planner Button

You can add the button to load unheld resources requests into the Resource Planner. You can add the button to the Resource Requests List View, and to the Resource Request Related List on the Project and Opportunity layouts.

To add the View in Resource Planner button to the Resource Requests list view:

1. Click Setup | Platform Tools | Objects and Fields | Object Manager.
2. Click the Resource Request object.
3. Click Edit on the Search Layouts for Salesforce Classic list view.
4. On the Search Results layout, click Edit. The Edit Search Layout page opens.
5. In the Custom Buttons section, add the View in Resource Planner button to the Selected Buttons list.
6. Click Save. You can now load unheld resource requests into the Resource Planner from the Resource Requests list view.

To add the button to Resource Request Related List on the Project and Opportunity layouts:

1. On the Project or Opportunity object, click the Page Layouts related list.
2. Click the Project Layout or Opportunity Layout.
3. Scroll to the Resource Requests related list and click . The Related List Properties page opens.
4. Expand the Buttons section.
5. Add theView in Resource Planner button to the Selected Buttons list.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Save. You can now load unheld resource requests into the Resource Planner from the Resource Requests related list on the Project and Opportunity objects.
