Here is a description of the fields that make up a reporting filter mapping. Some of these fields may not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations.

| Reporting Filter Mapping Name | * | 80 | Name of this reporting filter mapping, such as Sales Revenue or Cost of Sales. Appears on reports as a descriptive label. |
Key: * – Mandatory field
The number indicates the number of characters that are allowed in this text field, where appropriate.

| Reporting Filter | Lookup to the related reporting filter. | ||
| Template Key | * | Used by the template to retrieve data for the Row (01 to 99) or Column (A to Z). Not required for filter mappings of type All. | |
| Type | Defines the type of filter: Column, Row or All (which applies to the data range as a whole). You must select one of these three options. | ||
| Type/Template Key | Formula field that combines the type and template key as a single text value. If both exist they are separated by a space. |
