Task Management Day View

In Task Management Day View you can:

  • Select a team member and view their tasks for the selected day.
  • Scroll to another day.
  • Drag tasks to update them.
  • Re-assign a single task or multiple tasks to a different user.
  • Change the due date of a single task or multiple tasks.
  • Change the status of a task to Complete.
  • Select a task and go to the Task View.
  • Return to Month View.
Note:

In the Day View all Urgent tasks are marked with red line on left hand edge of task box and appear first in the task list in Task View. The To Do tasks have an orange line and appear below the urgent tasks. The Complete tasks have a green line and appear last in the task list. Within these categories the tasks are listed alphabetically. A task that is recurring shows Recurring Task on the right hand side of the task in Day View.

To open the Task Management Day View:

  1. From the Task Management calendar double click a day to view the tasks for that day.
  2. Scroll down to see less urgent tasks for the selected day.
  3. Use Scroll Leftand Scroll Rightto scroll through the days.
  4. Click Drop Downto select a different user and view their tasks for the selected day.
  5. Double click a task to go to the Task View.
  6. Click Returnin the header area of the Day View to return to the Month View.
  7. Click Reset to reset the selected user and date.

In Day View you can click the account name of a task to go to the Salesforce account page.
