Scheduling Automation Configurations
If you are using Revenue Management with recognition schedules, you can schedule automation configurations to run at regular intervals. When you schedule an automation configuration, a process schedule record is created. For information on how to create automation configurations, see Using the Revenue Management Automation.
To schedule an automation configuration:
- Go to the RM Automation Configurations page.
- Select a list view, then click on an automation configuration to open its detail page.
- Click Schedule Configuration.
- Select a schedule type:
- Calendar - Define a schedule to be run relative to calendar days, weeks, or months.
- Recognition Period - Define a schedule to be run relative to the end date of recognition periods.
- Select your preferred dates and times to determine the cadence that the process schedule runs. For more information, see Schedule Automation Fields.
- [Optional] Select Active to make the schedule available to be run by the scheduled job. An automation configuration can have more than one active schedule.
- Click Schedule to save the process schedule.
