Scheduling Automation Configurations

If you are using Revenue Management with recognition schedules, you can schedule automation configurations to run at regular intervals. When you schedule an automation configuration, a process schedule record is created. For information on how to create automation configurations, see Using the Revenue Management Automation.

To schedule an automation configuration:

  1. Go to the RM Automation Configurations page.
  2. Select a list view, then click on an automation configuration to open its detail page.
  3. Click Schedule Configuration.
  4. Select a schedule type:
    • Calendar - Define a schedule to be run relative to calendar days, weeks, or months.
    • Recognition Period - Define a schedule to be run relative to the end date of recognition periods.
  5. Select your preferred dates and times to determine the cadence that the process schedule runs. For more information, see Schedule Automation Fields.
  6. [Optional] Select Active to make the schedule available to be run by the scheduled job. An automation configuration can have more than one active schedule.
  7. Click Schedule to save the process schedule.
Note:

The process schedule will only run when the RM Process Schedule service is called. Depending on when you configure the scheduled job to run, there might be a delay before due process schedules run. For more information, see Scheduling a Job to Run Process Schedules.
