RM Process Schedule Fields

A Revenue Management process schedule record and its child records include the following fields. For more information about process schedules, see Automation Configuration Overview.

RM Process Schedule

Field Description
Active

A checkbox that indicates whether the process schedule is available to be run for the specified automation configuration. An automation configuration can have more than one active process schedule.

Cron Expression For internal use only. Represents the times the process schedule will be run as a Cron expression. Used only when the schedule type is Calendar.
Next Due

The date and time when the process schedule is next due to be run. Automatically calculated when a process schedule is marked as "Active". This is displayed as the Run Time (UTC) translated into the Salesforce user's time zone.

This is calculated using the following fields:

  • Calendar schedule type - Schedule Frequency, Schedule Start Time

  • Recognition Period schedule type - Period End Offset (Days), Schedule Start Time

Note:

The schedule will only run when the RM Process Schedule service is called. Depending on when you configure the scheduled job to run, there might be a delay before due process schedules run. For example, if your process schedules are configured to run daily at midnight, but the scheduled job is configured to run daily at 08:00, there is going to be an eight-hour delay before process schedules due at midnight are picked up by the scheduled job at 08:00 the following morning.

For more information, see Scheduling a Job to Run Process Schedules.

Period Day Offset

The number of days relative to the period end date, that defines when the process schedule will be run. Enter a value of zero to run on the period end date. Enter a negative value to run before the end date. Enter a positive value to run after the end date. Used only when the schedule type is Recognition Period. You can enter a minimum value of -30, and a maximum value of 30.

RM Process Schedule Name

Run Time

The time of day the process is scheduled to run, displayed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), on the day specified by Period Day Offset. Used only when the schedule type is Recognition Period.

For example, if your process schedules are configured to run daily at midnight, but the scheduled job is configured to run daily at 08:00, there is going to be an eight-hour delay before process schedules due at midnight are picked up by the scheduled job at 08:00 the following morning.
