Welcome to FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA). FinancialForce PSA is an on-demand solution that allows you to manage people, projects, customers and transactions. In PSA you can create projects based on opportunities and accounts and attach products to a project and then make assignments to those projects and track time logged against the assignments.
When you log in to Salesforce as a regular Salesforce user or Partner Portal user FinancialForce PSA tabs are displayed. The behavior of these tabs can be configured by your system administrator. FinancialForce PSA operates in the same way as Salesforce with the exception of the Staffer, Resource Planner and Project Planner.
After logging in to PSA through the Timecard Only or Expense Only interface, pages created and modified by your company are displayed in addition to the regular PSA Timecard and Expense pages.
Your administrator can customize many different areas to secure your data using a combination of FinancialForce PSA Permission Controls and Salesforce user controls. See "Setting up the Application".
Apart from the exceptions below, FinancialForce PSA Version 13X SP4 supports the same browsers that salesforce.com supports. See "Supported Browsers" in the Salesforce Help for detailed information. Make sure that pop-up blockers are disabled for Salesforce in your browser settings.
Salesforce and FinancialForce no longer support Internet Explorer 7 or 8 as of Salesforce Summer '15, currently scheduled for May/June of 2015.
FinancialForce PSA is generally compatible with Internet Explorer 7.0 or later, except:
Safari for Windows is not supported and there are known issues related to its use.
