About Staffer

The stafferA graphical tool that allows you to visually match resources to resource requests and then add resources to the requests. is a graphical tool which allows you to visually match resources to resource requests, and then add the resources to the requests, saving the time it takes to do these steps with the native FinancialForce PSA pages.

You locate a resource requestA means of asking for resources for a project or an opportunity., and the staffer shows potential available resources. You then drag the resource under the resource request on the Staffer worksheet, and optionally adjust the schedule. When you are finished matching a resourceA contact that works on a project. to a resource request, you switch to the plan sheet, save the plan, and the resource is added to the resource request.

Note

You can add as many resources to the worksheet on the staffer as you want, but you can only assign one resource at a time for each resource request.

Staffer Search, View and Grouping Capabilities

• You can search for resource requests in the Staffer by Account, Group, Opportunity, Practice, multiple primary Skills, Projects, Regions and Resource Roles. You can also group Resource Requests by Opportunity and Project, and view assignment details.
• You can also search Resources by External only, Group, Practice, Region, Resource Role, Skill/Certification and Work Calendar.
• Select the Advanced option from the drop down boxes on either the Resource Request or Resources window to use the expanded search options.
