Using the PSA Resourcing Lightning Component

Notes:

The configuration options available in PSA are not considered when using this Lightning component.

To use this component, you need the appropriate permissions. For more information, see Lightning Component Permissions.

This component lists the resources with the fields Is Resource and Is Resource Active set to true on their contact records. A maximum of 200 records are returned. Irrespective of any applied filter criteria, assigned or held and suggested resources are automatically sorted and displayed at the top of the list. Other resources returned in the list are sorted by their availability as a percentage.

If the start or end dates in the resource filter have been updated, the schedule created when holding or assigning resources respects those dates and not the start and end dates on the resource request.

To use this component, you must first enable the Resource Request Lightning Page in Feature Console. For more information, see Enabling Resource Request Page Updates. You can also create you own resource request Lightning page and add this component to it. For more information, see Adding PSA Custom Lightning Components to a Lightning Record Page.

Note:

You cannot configure the default fields available in this Lightning component. For information on the fields available on this component, see PSA Resourcing Lightning Component Fields.
