Creating a Project

Your administrator can edit several field sets to modify the fields that appear on this page. See Field Sets for more information.

You can create a projectClosedA collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets. from:

To create a project:

  1. Depending on where you are creating the project from, click Create Project or New Project.
  2. Type a name for the project in the Project Name field. Use a unique identifier so you can easily distinguish it from others for the same customer account and opportunity, as well as parent and child projects.
  3. [Optional] To make a project available for selection as a template in the Create Project From Template UI, set the Template checkbox to true.
  4. Complete the remaining fields described in Project Fields.
  5. Click Save.
