Creating Declarative Publications

  1. On the Registered Products tab, click the name of the product to which you want to add a declarative publication.
  2. Click New Publication in the Publications related list.
  3. Enter a name for the publication.
  4. Select the message type to which the publication belongs.
  5. [Optional] Complete the remaining fields. See Publication Fields.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Specify a source object:
    1. On the Publication Detail page, click Right Arrow Description.
    2. Click Source Object.
    3. Select the source object that you want to publish information from.
    4. Select the correlation field to which you want to apply the mappings.
    5. Click Confirm.
    6. Click Save in the description area of the publication page.
  8. Add nodes to your publication. See Adding Nodes to Publications.
  9. [Optional] Create a custom action for the declarative publication. See Creating a Custom Action.
  10. Enable the publication. See Enabling and Disabling Publications and Subscriptions.
