Configuring Engagement Analytics

Before you can use Engagement Analytics, you must ensure that:

You have the necessary licenses for Analytics and it is enabled in your user orgs. Contact the FinancialForce Onboarding team for assistance.
You have the necessary licenses to use Business Analytics. For more information, see Licensing.
Your administrator has enabled Analytics and Analytics templates in your org. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.
You have engagement records in your org.
You have properly configured Financial Analytics and that you have data in the Billing Contracts dataset, if you want to include Billing Central data. For more information, see Configuring Financial Management Analytics.
You have properly configured Financial Analytics and that you have data in the Supply Chain Management Core dataset, if you want to include SCM data. For more information, see Configuring Financial Management Analytics.
You have properly configured PSA Analytics and that you have data in the Project Reporting dataset, if you want to include PSA data. For more information, see Configuring PSA Analytics.

Your administrator is responsible for managing your Analytics settings.

Engagement Analytics Permission Sets

The following permission sets are required for Engagement Analytics users.

Required Permission Sets for Engagement Analytics
User	Permission Sets	Description
Integration User	Billing Central Analytics Read Access	Enables view access to objects and fields derived from Billing Central. Note: Only required if you use Billing Central with the engagement functionality and want to include billing contracts in Engagement Analytics.
	FDN - Core Analytics - Read	Enables view access to engagements and Foundations companies.
	PSA Analytics Integration User Read Access	Enables view access to objects and fields derived from PSA. Note: Only required if you use PSA with the engagement functionality and want to include projects in Engagement Analytics.
	SCM - Use Business Analytics for SCM	Enables view access to objects and fields derived from SCM. Note: Only required if you use SCM with the engagement functionality and want to include sales orders in Engagement Analytics.
Admin User	Analytics Platform	Enables access to all Analytics features. Note: This is a standard Salesforce permission set license.
Admin User	Einstein Analytics Platform Admin	Enables all permissions required to administer the Analytics platform, including permissions to enable creating Analytics templated apps and apps. Note: This is a standard Salesforce permission set.
View User	Analytics Platform	Enables access to all Analytics features. Note: This is a standard Salesforce permission set license.
View User	Einstein Analytics Platform User	Enables all permissions required to use the Analytics platform and Analytics templated apps and apps. Note: This is a standard Salesforce permission set.
Embedded Dashboards View User	Einstein Analytics Platform User	Enables access to the embedded dashboards on the engagement record page. Note: This is a standard Salesforce permission set.
