Foundations Datastream
Upgrade Steps
Datastream functionality was previously available as a separate package. From Summer 2022, only the Datastream features in Foundations are supported.
If you are new to using Datastream features, no steps are required to upgrade this feature to Summer 2022. See Setting up Datastream to get started.
If you previously used the FinancialForce Datastream package, we recommend that you complete the following steps to remove the package from your org:
- Remove the FinancialForce Datastream (ffdlDatasteam) component from any custom Lightning pages that contain it. We recommend that you keep a list of these pages.
For details of how to remove components from Lightning pages, see the Salesforce Help. - Remove the FinancialForce Datastream permission set from users. For more information about permission set assignments, see the Salesforce Help.
- Uninstall the FinancialForce Datastream package. For more information about uninstalling packages, see the Salesforce Help.
- Set up Foundations Datastream, which includes:
- Managing permissions
- Reviewing batch settings
- Applying the new component to the custom pages you identified in Step 1
