Allocation Detail Fields

An allocation record is created each time the allocation process runs. Any journals or transactions created by the process are shown in related lists.

When the allocation process runs as a batch job, you will need to refresh the page to see the journals, transactions and logs that have been created. See About Allocations for information about when the process switches to running as a batch job.

Field	Description
Allocation Name	Unique name generated automatically to identify the allocation record.
Allocation Type	Type of allocation that was carried out, such as fixed or variable.
Company	Company the allocation transactions or journals were created in.
Description	Description for this allocation.
Output	Shows whether allocation transactions or allocation journals were created.
Posting Date	Date the allocation was posted.
Posting Period	Accounting period the allocation transactions or journals were posted in.

Batch Fields

Many of these fields are intended for internal use only and may not be visible on your page layout. You might want to view a batch job record to access logs created by the process. These fields will be blank if the allocation ran synchronously rather than as a batch job.

Field Name	Description
Apex Job Id	Unique identifier for the current batch Apex job.
Batch Job Progress	Graphical bar displaying the progress of the batch Apex job.
Batch Process	Lookup to the batch process record. The record is deleted automatically when the process completes.
Notification Type	The type of notification sent when the process completed: Successful, Failure, or Mixed.
Status	The current status of the batch job: "Processing", "Complete", or "Error". If the process completed with errors, an error log will be available from the Allocation Logs related list. Refresh your browser to ensure the process status is up to date.
Total Number of Aborts	The number of logs where Log Type is Abort.
Total Number of Errors	The number of logs where Log Type is Error.
Total Number of External	The number of logs where Log Type is External.
Total Number of Logs	The total number of logs.
