Creating Mappings

There are several mappings that you need to create before you can use the SCM Accounting Connector.

Note:

An ICP or a warehouse may not exist for a sales order, service contract or a purchase order.

You can create mappings for any of your SCM accounts. These can include, but are not limited to the following SCM account examples:

  • Inventory
  • COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
  • Accrued Purchases
  • Expenses
  • Miscellaneous

You can create mappings for your SCM accounts so SCM inventory transactions can be exported to journals in Certinia Accounting. For each SCM account, you map your GL accounts in SCM to the appropriate General Ledger Accounts in Certinia Accounting.
