Adding a Project Task

To add a project taskA unit of work or collection of work associated with a project. to a projectA collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets. using Task Management Classic:

  1. Select the project to which you want to add a task.
  2. [Optional] If you want the task to be a child of an existing task, select the checkbox of the task that you want to be the parent.
  3. Click Add Task or press ENTER.
  4. Enter a Task Name.
  5. Complete the fields described in "Task Management Classic Fields". If you want to complete fields other than those displayed in the task list, click Edit.
