Deleting Project Versions and Baselines

Your administrator must assign Project Version Delete permission control to you for you to delete project versions.
By default, you can delete records on a version in batches of 500. Your administrator can change the batch size in the Project Versioning Global Settings custom setting. Setting the batch size higher than 500 can potentially lead to batch creation failures and is not advised.

To delete a project versionA read-only data capture of the project in a particular moment in time. click Delete Version from the Project Versions related list on the Project page.

You can view the progress of Version record deletion by viewing the associated batch process. For more information, see Viewing Project Version Batch Jobs.
Warning: Warning Warning triangle
To avoid encountering platform governor limits, system administrators should delete project versions using the Delete Version button and not use the Salesforce Delete button.
