Preparing your Org for the User Management App

Before running the User Management app, carry out these tasks on your Salesforce orgClosed Salesforce organization:

  • Create and configure the permission sets and permission set groups that you want to apply.
  • Install the packages for which you want to assign licenses to users in your Salesforce org.
  • Create or import user information records for the Salesforce users that you want to create or update and assign templates to. See Importing User Information and Creating User Information.
  • Enable the Scheduled Jobs feature from the Feature Console to enable you to access the Apply User Information job. For more information, see Scheduled Jobs.
