Creating Resource Demands from Project Task Gantt

Notes:

Your administrator can add this feature by enabling the Show "Create Resource Demand" Button setting.

You can set the default resource demand type from the User Preferences section of the Project Task Gantt Settings and Preferences page. See the Resource Demand Default setting.

After selecting a project to edit in Project Task Gantt, you can create resource requests, held resource requests and assignments based on the duration, assigned resources and associated roles and milestones of the project tasksA unit of work or collection of work associated with a project. and project task assignments.

To create resource demands:

In Project Task Gantt, select the project for which you want to generate resource requests.

Do one of the following to create a resource demand:

Click Create Resource Demand to create the default resource demand task.
To see the default resource demand task, hover your cursor over the Create Resource Demand button.
Click the down selector arrow adjacent to the Create Resource Demand button and select one of the following:
