Support for Dependency Types

Project Task Gantt also reflects the dependency type where a project task dependency relationship exists between project tasks. The following dependency types are supported:

Notes
To edit tasks in Project Task Gantt by default, you must be the project manager of the project. If you are not the project manager, you can view or edit tasks in Project Task Gantt if you have been assigned the Project Task Gantt View or Project Task Gantt Edit permission control respectively.
Project Task Gantt displays and formats numbers and dates according to the locale of your Salesforce user. If you have not changed this, the default locale of your Salesforce organization is used. We recommend that you set the same time zone on your computer and the Salesforce User Time Zone field. If you do not do this, Start and End dates of project tasks may change in ways that you do not expect. To change the locale of your Salesforce user, from Setup click My Personal Information | Personal Information.
If you use Project Task Gantt and create or edit tasks in Salesforce or Task Management Classic, you must ensure that the Start Date & Time field of a task always starts at 8AM and the End Date & Time field of a task always finishes at 5PM. If the task is a checkpointZero day task record, which is used to represent an event in the project such as a key decision, completion of a work package, completion of a deliverable or end of a phase. Checkpoint tasks have no relationship with PSA milestones., ensure that the Start Date & Time and End Date & Time fields contain the same value. If you do not do this, Project Task Gantt may display task durations that you were not expecting.
Project Task Gantt currently supports projects that contain up to 2,000 project tasks. Speed and performance vary depending on how efficiently your web browser handles complex JavaScript applications; for older browsers we recommend a limit of under 1,000 project tasks. If you want to work with more than 2000 project tasks, create several projects that represent each top-level task, each phase or each deliverable of your project and link them together using a project hierarchy. See "Project Hierarchies".
Project Task Gantt does not support frames. This means that you can't use it with the Console tab or Service Cloud Console, or any custom integrations that use frames.
Tips
Project Task Gantt works best in screen resolutions of 1280x1024 or higher.
When using Project Task Gantt ensure that your browser zoom level is set to its default setting namely 100%.
